How to cheat on your girlfriend

Cheating on your girlfriend is like getting into a bathtub full of hot water. You can't just jump in. You have to ease your way in, step by step - and you'd better take extra care when it reaches your genitals.

I'm not talking about a stupid, one-night drunken fling. Those are meaningless. Nor am I talking about those relationships where the partner's aching to get out - we all know somebody who's stayed with his girlfriend only because he hasn't found anybody better yet. I'm talking about a serious, committed relationship to a girlfriend where this new girl who you find really attractive finds you attractive back.

You see, most men haven't really committed themselves to a relationship - they've just disabled the hunting mode. Rarely will you find the man who, upon finding some strange beautiful girl giving him a front rub, will say, "Hey! I have a girlfriend who is much more faithful and less pretty than you are!" Truth be told, most guys will just get drunk really quickly so they'll have an excuse in the morning.

So we don't look for it. We don't seek. But if something homes in on us, we'll probably take it. Not right away, though. There's a very slow and very formal procedure we have of rationalizing it, candycoating the distasteful fact that we are going to betray someone's trust. Someone who is trusting in us a lot, in all probability.

The first stage is realizing. Understanding gradually that someone is seeking us. We've blinded ourself to a certain extent; if we guys were going to be dead honest about other people's motivations all the way through, we wouldn't have any fun. If we avoided every activity that smacked of sexual tension, we'd get so stressed out So we'll take the backrubs girls give us. We'll take the hugs that last a half-second too long and the friendly squeeze that's just a bit too tight, because we need that ego rub.

And then we see it: Wait a minute, you mean I'm the only one she gives backrubs to? You mean I'm the first one she talks with when she gets the chance? Especially when we have the chance to be alone?

Yep. It's you, chum. So whatcha gonna do about it?

If you're good, you'll throw up the defense shields in a conversation. Most guys don't mention their mates when they're talking. It's as if they know, subconsciously, that talking about your girlfriend is the same thing as having her stand next to you. So if you're good, you'll be talking with her, she's laughing, and you'll pull that switch; "So I was out the other night with my GIRLFRIEND, and we...."

There'll be an almost audible moment where she realizes what you're doing. And she'll turn away. You'll hate yourself blackly for passing up an opportunity in that moment, but it'll pass.

But that's not usually what happens.

Usually you rationalize like crazy. Even though you realize what's about to happen, you'll bump this girl one or two notches up on your friend list. You'll find some activities where you can be alone with her for awhile. Nothing too bad, just a little movie or something... and, of course, being the rough-and-tumble friends that you are, you usually wind up holding each other. Little mock fights where you have to hold her hands to make her stop. It's cold, so you hold her close to warm her up. Tickle fights.

Take it from me if you have to. There has never been such a thing as an innocent tickle fight between a man and a woman.

And after the tickle fight, you'll be holding each other tight so the other can't tickle back, cheek to cheek for a moment - a very long moment - and you'll both realize that your lips are centimeters apart. That you can feel her breath on your chin, and it is warm. And you'll realize that you couldwants you to. kiss her; and that she

And you pull away.

That time.

If you were really being honest, you'd realize what was happening, pull up stakes, and see her from then on only with crowds of people surrounding you. Crowds of people who know your girlfriend. But you won't. You don't want to realize.

Instead, you'll invite her over to a private place - and just coincidentally, you'll forget to tell any of your friends where you're going or who you're with - and you'll do something innocent. Like watching TV. What could be more innocent that watching TV? Especially when you're nuzzling up against each other on the couch, bodies pressed tight.... and that tickle fight breaks out.

And there's that moment.

And this time you don't pull away.

First it's just the lips. Brushing against each other. Once. Then you kiss, closer, the lips still closed, a pause as you both make your decision, and then those lips part. Slightly.

And that's it.

It might take a few more times for you to actually go through with it - getting a little further each time before you stop, panting with passion and finally saying, "This is a bad idea," knowing full well that it is and you won't stop... but eventually, you will go all the way. Trust me. In that pause between the closed lips and the open ones, you committed yourself to her every bit as fully as you committed yourself to your girlfriend.

And in some isolated place, you'll do it.

And it will be wonderful. Magic. Right up until that moment when you're finished, and in that one glorious moment of orgasm all of your triumph will blacken into self-hatred. You'll wince away from her because you know what you've done and you don't want to share that feeling with anybody. All that glorious sex turns into just so much sticky fluid in a latex baggie.

And that's it.

You can continue it with her or decide to call it quits - hell, you may never screw around with her or anybody else as long as you live. But you've got a secret to hide now. You have to censor your thoughts around your girlfriend or come out with it and damn near kill her, and either way you've destroyed a part of your relationship that's never coming back. And it's all your fault, chum.

Deal with it.

And the question is raised: Is this column funny? Does it have a point? No, not really. Truth be told, it's kind of sad and pointless.

Should I be sad or not???

psychology has always been what i wanna take for my diploma, but there wasn't tsuch course

when i entered polytechnic and not that rich to take private diploma in psychology.

anyway now, i'm happy that i can take biotechnology, at least it's science somethng that i like.

next year, it'll be the 3rd year of poly, and the last time i'll get to take gems-general elective module, i can chose anything i'm interested in to take. initially i registered for psychology, this module is so popular that i almost couldn't get it, when i got it, i was euphoria. i could takea gem that was really interesting together with my best friend.

unfortunately, today she told me that some of her friends wanted to take the same gems together, cause it is our last gems. there was no more vacancy for psychology class. so she asked me to consider ivision. it doesn't seem interesting to me, i took quite a while to think about it.

my heart tells me NO, but my mind say yes. my mind says yes cause, i know i'll be able to get to know more people and i'll have my best friend to accompany to gems, and not alone.

I felt really sad that i have to de-register "psychology" cause it was quite tough to get it.

in the end, i decided to de-reigister psychology and take ivision.

i went to SAS-singapore polytechnic administration service online, i hesistated then click drop psychology. I could have just taken psychology but i'll be alone. i can make new friends though, but the thing is that, it's different if i can take it with my best friend. Sometimes i'm introvert, really super introvert. so i just sacrifice and take ivision.

thinking about it now, i can actually go online and search for articles or anything about psychology. I can still learn stuff about psychology just now in school.

i just hope that ivision will be slack and not as boring as i think it will be.

i'll look on the bright side, i can make new friends, so

i'll be fine.

today i got a really good deal....
every 26 and 27 of the month, there'll be a bazzar at NUH.
alex and i went to see, one of the booth was selling swiss roll...these swiss rolls were really delicious not those cheapo, no standard kind of swiss rolls. it's from "Rich & good cake shop" located at 24, kandahar street. S(198887). I saw this shop being adveritsed on television, so i think it should be really good. it was selling at $6 per roll. i told alex about how good the swiss roll was, and she bought two roll and there was only 1 left with a few boxes of sample, varieties of flavours. the auntie said" if you buy this last roll, i'll give you all the samples i have left." i was like serious ah!!! then i said" wow...ok..hahaha." and i got one kaya swiss roll for $6 with 5 boxes of different flavour. one box of sample is about half of one roll. so tell me, do you think it is a good deal?? just right after i bought if, a lady came and asked for one roll, but too bad sold out!! suay ah the auntie. i'm so happy. now i have so many to share. haha. i'm gonna give two boxes to brian. hehe. praise the lord.

Broccoli May Help Boost Aging Immune System

ScienceDaily (Mar. 6, 2008) — Eat your broccoli! That's the advice from UCLA researchers who have found that a chemical in broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables may hold a key to restoring the body's immunity, which declines as we age.

the study findings show that sulforaphane, a chemical in broccoli, switches on a set of antioxidant genes and enzymes in specific immune cells, which then combat the injurious effects of molecules known as free radicals that can damage cells and lead to disease. According to the UCLA study, the ability of aged tissues to reinvigorate their antioxidant defense can play an important role in reversing much of the negative impact of free radicals on the immune system.

"We found that treating older mice with sulforaphane increased the immune response to the level of younger mice," said Hyon-Jeen Kim, first author and research scientist at the Geffen School.

recently i went for TB (tuberculosis) test, because one of my friend in dance got the TB disease
every dance member had to go for TB test, to check if we got it from her.
The TB result: the first 2times was negative(no TB bacterial-mycobacterium tuberculosis)
i was asked to go back for one last test two weeks later.....& it came out

I have "latent TB" it is not contagious.
i can't spread it to anyone because the bacterials are inactive
It might become active when i'm immune-suppressed.
than only it will become the TB disease and spread to others when cough & cough out blood.
I know some people will be scare when i cough...though it's not because of TB.
you guys might be afraid that i spread to you.

E-learning week

some people thought e-learning week is a time to slack...the truth is, its NOT.

i don't know about other poly, at least the poly i'm in and the course, e-learning week is insane.

I HATE being a girl...today is the first day of "the girl thing"...the pain started at about 9.30am. i was in school since8am. during the break at 10.30am, bought sliced fish mee hoon but didn't even finish half of the serving. waste my money. i was feeling terrible. i couldn't go for the another 3hr lecture, i went home to rest. on the way home the pain worsen. immediately lie on the bed when i got home. couldn't sleep cos i was in pain for abt 3 hours. i was feeling hungry so i went to eat something and went back to sleep. now i'm feeling better.

Today one of my lecture was cancelled, so we had 2&1/2 hr break be4 our practical. alex and jay accompanied me to jurong east to get some stuff. My bag is super heavy, it weigh more than 5kg, my shoulder is shoulder and back muscles are aching like crazy. My muscles are so tense and tight. a alot of knots. damn painful!!!!

On 30sep sun...My friend and i organised a birthday party for our dearest friend Christon.

URGH!!!! i could have slept another 1&1/2 more hour today...i woke up at 6am to go sch for gems(general elective module...i'm taking"etiquette and professional image)that starts at 8am
and alex and i found that the class was lock, no one was there. we were puzzled. we were thinking maybe the class has shifted to somewhere else and we were not informed. clueless about what's happening, we decided to use the computer at the lib to check if there was any announcement on BB(sp website). there wasn't any announcement about the gems class, than we checked our sch e-mail, and realised...

SPCA came to my school
there was this bear in a cage, a fake one of course, it kept making some noise and one of my friend said it sounds like jay making noise during S__...(guess)

my whole class had to starve and not have lunch till5pm for anatomy and physiology practical...

cos the experiment requires us to take our glucose level. 2ppl drank glucose drink, 2ppl ate carbo(bread) me and alex ate bread hehe...we finish the bread within 1- 2min...2ppl exercise..2ppl ate butter for fat and 2ppl ate egg white for protein...the aim of the experiment is to see how each of those food affects the glucose level over 60min...i had to prick my finger 6 times for blood...damn painful

Skin Myths

Ever since Adam put on his first loin cloth to impress Eve there has been no end to extremes that some people will go to in order to improve their looks. For thousands of years and in almost every culture, different concoctions and treatments have been applied to the skin and ingested in an attempt to maintain youth and beauty. Now many of these treatment and concoctions would prove to be fairly harmless. But countless others proved to be extremely dangerous, doing more damage than good or, worse yet, fatal. There are so many stories of charlatans and snake oil salesmen that talking about all of them here would simply take to long. So let us focus on a few of the more infamous cases, some funny and some tragic.

Certain other myths exist about the skin that does not involve consuming some magic elixir, applying a cream or other type of treatment. One this is particularly dangerous is the notion that a sunburn will turn to a tan or that you need to burn before tanning to give the tan a good base. According to many experts there are no known circumstances under which a sunburn a good thing. Aside from being painful, the burn can damage the skin in ways that not readily apparent. Continuous overexposure to UV or ultraviolet rays can result in the skin aging prematurely or worse overexposure can lead to the development of skin cancers letter in life.

Another potentially dangerous myth is that people with darker skin do not need to use sunscreen since darker skin pigments act as a natural sun block. According to many experts dark skinned people should follow the same basic advice about sunscreen and use a product with an appropriate SPF rating.

Whatever your skin type, just remember that skin cancer can be fatal so it pays to take all appropriate precautions against overexposure to UV rays.

Cellulite has been a skin care buzzword for many years and is not a legitimate, recognized medical condition. Despite the dubious origins of the term, a plethora of myths have sprung up about what causes it and how to get rid of it. The popular mythology of cellulite defines it as an unsightly fat deposit that gives the surface of the skin a sort of orange peel look. The mere mention of the word cellulite is often a cause of dread and self-loathing for many folks who may be overly concerned about their body image. Preying on the overly self-conscious the marketplace has been flooded with cures and treatments that are said to help us deal with this terrible affliction.

Some of the so-called ways to eliminate cellulite range from the mundane and ridiculous, to the patently absurd. There is the usual assortment of creams and gels that claim to almost magically breakdown these miserable little fats cells. i'm totally disappointed with my results...it was different from what i expected. i expected a D for my appmic, B for plant science instead i got B for appmic, which is a miracle. i'm so sad that i got only a C+ for plant science, though the difference between a C+ and B is 10 marks. i'm glad that i got A for orsm. thank god, otherwise i would be even more upset. i think i'll just have to take private degree, no local uni for me.

went to the IT fair with my dad and brother, after my dad had got want he wanted, we slack at starbucks while i read the book"a love worth giving"
we ate dinner at kenny roger..my stomach was nearly fully occupied when i still have half the portion left to eat, i tried my best to finish everything and i could hardly walk after i pour all the food in my stomach, but it was GOOD...i love to eat.
